From August 16 to 22, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board hosted a familiarization trip to Azerbaijan for 10 leading tourism companies from Pakistan.

The fam trip organized in partnership with Pakistan’s international tourism exhibition Pakistan Travel Mart, introduced participants to a wide range of tourism products covering cultural heritage, nature, and historical tourism. In addition, B2B meetings were held between industry representatives.

Around 50 local companies took part in the B2B session where opportunities for mutual cooperation and tourist exchange were discussed.

Currently direct flights are operated from Lahore and Islamabad to Azerbaijan.

Between January and July 2025 more than 46,000 Pakistani citizens visited Azerbaijan, marking a 16% increase compared to the same period last year.
